Critic Review: Deep ruby, small bubbles and showing a grapy, berry and tropical fruit and floral nose. Medium sweet (55g/L sugar content), fine mousse, flavours of sweedish berry, passion fruit, strawberry and citrus, with a medium finish. A wine like this is really best with spicy or sweet foods. This is a standout pairing to compliment chocolate chip cheesecake with a strawberry, blueberry and port reduction compote. The bubbles cleanse the palate between bites and flavours are in perfect harmony with the berry compote.
Tasted December 2015
My Review: I liked this wine the most out of all the ones I tried at the wine tasting. I liked this one the most because it was sweeter than the others and I also enjoyed the bubbly feeling from the wine.
I did not have food with this wine.
